We are writers and teachers who enjoy working with experienced writers and with those who are just starting out. 

I’m Bethany Leonard. Being in a writing group has helped me so much with my writing that I thought it would be fun to offer the experience here in Crystal Falls. One of my favorite things about being in a writing group is becoming a part of a supportive community of writers who learn together. I write children’s fiction and nonfiction and have taught both children and adults. Contact us if you want to talk about how our group might be a good fit for you.

My name is Doug Leonard. I decided to become a writer when I was a boy in Crystal Falls and I’ve been writing ever since. I write poetry, essays, novels, short stories, grants, and fundraising materials. I enjoy helping beginning writers, college students, and professionals.
